The world's first space traveler has signed up to travel around the moon on Elon Musk's Starship. Starship is yet to launch

The first person to visit space is eager to return -and this time the plan is to go on an excursion around the moon in Elon Musk's Starship.

In the case of Dennis Tito, 82, it's a chance to recall the excitement of his journey into Space Station International Space Station

Now that he's retired and has plenty of time. He's not interested in jumping onto a 10-minute flight to Space's edge, or doing what he did years ago. "Been there and done this.

The moonshot that he's been taking for the past week (the date of which is to be set and the years into the future will put him close to of 125 miles (200 km) of the lunar's side

There will be company with him: Akiko, his wife Akiko along with 10 other people willing to pay huge sums for the trip.

Tito will not reveal the amount he's paid for his flight to Moscow. Russian station flight was worth $20 million.

Tito is just the second billionaire who has managed to have made an Starship reservation to fly to the Moon
